#####AIS-linked Global Image Database with Cesium
This web application has the capability to collect images of ships, geotag and time stamp them, and load them in a searchable database. Maritime authorities can then search the database for images of the ships at various times and locations. The location of a ship can also be linked and obtained from an AIS database. This is an MVC web application built with Cesium at the front end and an image server, built on sqldatabse, at the back end. Most of the search capability is implemented via Cesium. The application also provides the capability to add images through a webAPI to the database.

#####The Google Earth Appliance has been made what?
So Google has turned off “The Appliance.” Where should you map now? This presentation will give a quick insight into the pathway some of our clients are taking as the move away from the Google Earth Appliance into the world of open-source mapping on the Cesium Virtual Globe and Map Engine.
We will discuss the Ozone Widget Framework (OWF) as well as take a look at how one map can support multiple clients through the Common Map API (CMAPI).

The volume of imagery and LiDAR data being generated is growing at an incredible pace. However, our ability to understand and access that data has not maintained that same rate of growth. In fact, many of us still rely on methods developed when there were only a few satellites in orbit providing imagery accessible to the public. PIXIA HiPER LOOK provides the unique ability to expose a large volume of diverse data types via OGC standard services in a highly performant and scalable system architecture. By combining PIXIA’s HiPER LOOK server with Analytical Graphic’s Cesium visualization capabilities, we are able to create a unique and compelling way to present large and diverse data sets via a web client, even when network connectivity is intermittent or not available at all.
