Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI), founder of Cesium, is growing the core Cesium team.
Come help us realize the potential of 3D virtual globes! We are building web apps to visualize every satellite in space to every building in Philadelphia. We are the Cesium team at Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI), and we’re seeking top talent to help us continue to be the leader in 3D geospatial.
As an intern, you’ll write production code alongside full-time developers. You’ll work with experienced mentors who invest in helping you realize your potential. Interns are also encouraged to present at conferences, write articles, and contribute to open source and industry standards.
Are you interested in any of the following areas? (Don’t worry, we don’t expect you to know them yet!)
You should love envisioning new features, having ownership, exploring new technologies, and shipping code.
Our mentors are experienced at growing talent and look forward to helping you achieve your career and personal growth goals. We are passionate about doing meaningful work and emphasize a cooperative work environment. Many interns join us for full-time positions after graduation.
This position is open to freshmen through PhD candidates, working towards a degree in Computer Science, Math, Digital Media, or a related field.
Positions are available year-round based on your school’s academic calendar. The next start date is summer 2017.
Our team works at the intersection of 3D, geospatial, and the web. We are passionate about crafting world-class software, realizing the potential of 3D on the web, and teaching and learning from new team members, from interns to experienced developers.
The Cesium team is part of AGI, a real aerospace company. You may find yourself having lunch with a rocket scientist or hanging out at our Commercial Space Operations Center, tracking satellites in real-time (it's built on Cesium, of course).
Much of our work is open source. We collaborate with the community on GitHub, mentor students on open-source projects, and participate in events such as code sprints and hackathons.
When we're not writing code for Cesium, you may find us contributing to open standards, writing books, teaching computer science, or presenting at or organizing conferences.
Free meals, snacks, and beverages, casual dress, flexible hours, and onsite gym and laundry top the list of AGI's great perks. AGI also offers an outstanding salary, benefits, retirement, and development hardware.
The Cesium team is part of Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI), where computer science and rocket science combine to serve security and space professionals.
AGI won the Best Tech Work Culture at the Philadelphia Timmy Awards and was listed in the top 10 coolest companies to work for in Philadelphia.
AGI is located in Exton, outside of Philadelphia. We are happy to help you find housing.
