Sean focuses on rendering and other core engine features.
Sean works on improving the Cesium graphics engine. This includes writing shaders, adding support for new WebGL features, and efficiently rendering large datasets. He is also involved in the server-side processing for 3D Tiles. Sean comes from a game development background, and he enjoys both the creative aspect of game design and technical nature of engine development. Before joining the Cesium team in 2015, he studied Digital Media Design at the University of Pennsylvania.
